I just gave a 👍🏿 cause u have the most well organized time marker in ur description box in all of YouTube !
Currently my favorite YouTube channel! ❤️ Love all of the videos 🙌🏼
Rodney, In the video you have one of the income houses on a tile, I don't see anything in the rules for a income structure being on a tile. Am I missing something? Thanks and great video sir!
Thank you Rodney. Hope you and the family are doing good.
Hey Rodney, at 10:10 you mention 4 land types but you point out 5 types. I just bought the game and using your video as a way to learn. Love your videos and never found mistake before. But, Even the rulebook doesn't specify the ammount of land types. Lol hmmm… I haven't played yet so I can't say for sure if this is a mistake.
Thank you for this excellent walk through. Precise and easy to understand and so well organized. We watched together as a family and it really helped us thoroughly enjoy our first play through of Tapestry. Great game overall and we're looking forward to future plays.
box flip @ 0:12
Wait, what!? No flip?
Outstanding
greetings from Italy!
50 thumbs down?! Outrages! There's a special place in hell for those people. Fine work Mr. Smith, fine work.
I love the understated humor in these videos
How many takes did it take to get that box spin at the start? 😂
I ordered this game after watching this. 👍🏼
Rodney, you have come such a long way production-wise since you launched this channel (was it 8 years ago?) and even since I got into the hobby and started watching you in 2015. It really warms my heart that most of your videos nowadays are sponsored, as it means that you are finally getting the recognition and reward you deserve for the value you bring in the industry (being featured on BGG I'm sure is a great honour but it doesn't pay any bills). It has been a joy watching you grow and noticing the subtle changes in assertiveness. Your presentation skills, hard work, attention to details and of course the magnitude of your output are inspirational. You're also probably one of the nicest guys in the hobby 🙂 So kudos and thanks!
Amazing game, too expensive for me. Hopefully i can afford it sometime in the future
Thanks for this video!
how long did it take to master the intro? 🙂
Just bought this game- we have played a couple times but cannot really get above 200 points despite the rule book saying a good score is 300. Is this normal? Or do we just need to get better at the game?!
Thank you! I love your work!
That was helpful, thank you 🙂
Thanks Rodney. Really helpful
Terrific tutorial. Looks like a deep civilization game with straight forward rules. Looking forward to playing this one.
This game seems to have a lot of "the first player to do X get a better reward" things. This often means the (randomly selected) first player has a distinct advantage. Does this game have any mechanic to balance that out?
After several games I've found that we always score no more than 150-180 points and seeing other people on the web and forums scoring at most 200+ points I started to think I may have missed some rules. In the video you score victory points at the first income phase (when you should only execute the last step of the income phase), but later when you chose to enter a new era (turn 2-5) you score VP at the right step (upgrade tech/score points). Does this mean that I get to score points at the upgrade phase AND at the next (gain resources)?
Super clear video! Thanks a lot.
Hey Rodney, thanks for this very helpful video. I have many questions about this game, but the one I'd like to ask you focuses on the 17:00 one when you're discussing the science track. When you roll the dice and you get the science icon . . . do you move two spaces forward? Thanks.
So you only go down one track and advance one spot on it, paying the resource(s) to do so. Then you have to immediately go back to your income phase? Seems like the games would be very quick. Is that right?
If I'm at era 1 and want to move to the fourth place of technology tree(which is at era 2), am I allowed to do that?
Hi rodney can u show me how to play paladins of the west kingdom
Rodney, you are the best! Have you ever considered having a teaching series about non-boardgame topics? I would watch them as well. You make the complex very understandable. Good job as always. I cannot wait to get my pre-ordered copy of Tapestry!!
I have a question on the game: if an effect of another opponent's card or other effects gets you to advance to a new tier of one track without getting the bonus, do you still get the landmark provided you're the first player to get into the tier?
Hey, What are the measurements on those board game shelves you have? I love how neatly stacked they are and i wish to make one for myself. Great channel!
Please could you do one for Western Legends
Love your crisp and clear explanation videos. Best on Youtube! Greetings from Germany
